TUITION PAYMENTS

Payments may be made by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.  Please notate your child’s name, class time and class level on your check.  All tuition is based on a 4 week session, which will include 4 full weeks of classes.  There will be 12 sessions during each year.  All payments are due by the 25th of each month.  A late fee of $25.00 will be added to any payment not received by the 25th of the month.  (Class space will be given to paid students.)  We offer several different types of payment options.  You may sign up for auto-billing.  If you select auto-billing, you will provide us with your credit card information and we will manually process your credit card for payment on the 25th of the month.  You will never incur any late fees with this option.  You may mail your payment by check to the mailing address listed on the schedule.  Be sure to allow enough time for payment to be received before the late date.  Never send cash through the mail.  Or you may pay with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard in person.  All returned checks will be charged a $35.00 fee.  All payments will be made for a full four week session.  There is NO pro-rating for any reason, and no refunds for missed classes for any reason.  Any classes missed due to illness may be made-up.  (Please see our make-up policy.)  There will be 4 weeks each year that the gym will be closed.  These weeks are not included in any of the sessions and there will be no make-up classes allowed for these weeks.  In the event your child must withdraw from their class, please notify the gym in writing 15 days in advance.  If a student stops taking a class with proper written notice for any reason, the student will still be allowed to make-up any unused classes.  There are no refunds for unused classes.  Any payment not made by the first class of the session will result in the student being suspended until the account is brought current.  Class space will be given to accounts that are paid and current.

ATTENDANCE AND EARLY RELEASE

If your child will need to miss a class or needs to arrive late or leave early, please notify the front office and your instructor in advance. You may leave a message during non-business hours. It is important for the students to arrive on time for their class for warm up and stretching. This is an important part of any physical training and helps to avoid injury.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

There are 4 weeks each year that the gym will be closed for major holidays. These closures are not included in the four week sessions therefore, there will be no make-up classes for scheduled gym closures. If a student misses a class for any reason, there will be no refund given and classes will not be pro-rated. Students may make-up missed classes of their level due to student illness. Each student will be allowed one make-up class for each session. All missed classes must be made-up during the session in which they are missed. Please check the current class schedule for available class times.

ATTIRE

Girls are asked to wear leotards. Shorts and t-shirts that are not oversized or restrictive may by worn by boys and girls. Long hair must be put up or pulled back in order not to cause distraction. Jewelry should be removed before class. Socks should not be worn at any time during class. They do not provide any traction and are not safe on equipment. Leotards and hair bands are available for purchase at our pro shop. Martial Arts students must wear their full uniform during all practices.

Participation in any class is with an Instructor.

This is disruptive to the class and to the other students. Disruptive students will be asked to leave the gym area until they are ready to be cooperative and respectful. Pre-school students that are disruptive or not listening will be asked to take a time out until they have calmed down and are able to listen.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and drinks are only allowed in the observation area or outside. No food or drink is allowed in the gym area or pre-school gym area. Students may bring a drink with them to keep on the shelves with their belongings. Students will be given water breaks and are encouraged to stay hydrated. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase at the front office.

DROP OFF & PICK UP

Students over the age of 3 are allowed to be dropped off for classes, however, children will not be supervised outside of their class time. Please do not drop off or pick up children more than 5 minutes before or after their class time. If your child does not stay on the floor with their class, you will be asked to remain at the gym during their class. We request that you stay at the gym at all times with children age 3 and younger. Running, yelling and horseplay will not be tolerated at any time by students or their siblings or friends.

**It is advised that you walk your children to and from the lobby. Children will not be allowed to wait outside the building to be picked up.

COMMUNICATION AND WEB-SITE

We do our best to keep you informed with important information. We post signs and notices at our entrance and on our bulletin board. It is your responsibility to read these notices. These will include reminders that tuition is due, reminders of gym closures and other important information such as changes to the schedule and new offerings. Be sure to check our web-site often, as we try to keep this updated with the most current and accurate information.

TEAM TRY-OUTS

If your daughter is interested in becoming a member of the Flip & Twist Competitive Team, please notify the coach. A meeting will be arranged with the parents, her coach, the Team coach and the Team Manager to discuss a try-out, or to discuss any skills that the gymnast needs to accomplish prior to a try-out. Generally, try-outs will be at designated times during the year so the gymnasts will have time to prepare for the competitive season.
